Advice

I am sure we all have one person that we go to for advice. So, what is advice? As per the Cambridge Dictionary, advice is, "an opinion that someone offers you about what you should do or how you should act in a particular situation."


Put simply, advice is advice is guidance or recommendations given to help someone make decisions, solve problems, or improve their situation.


An important thing to be aware of is that advice is uncountable, therefore it has no plural form.

A common mistake people is:

He gives me advices.

  • This wrong as the word advice, is uncountable.

The correct way is:

  • He gives me advice.
